1. Searchable list

The parties list shows all parties in the system besides merchants.

The list is searchable and filterable. To search for a certain type of party, find the party column, type YES into the search field and hit enter. You can also search for multiple Party types by entering Yes into the ones you want. In figure 2 below, funders and brokers will come up in the search results.

2. Add/Edit a party

  1. Click Add or Edit to open the Party details screen.

  1. Fill out as much information as you want. Only the starred fields, name and contact person, are required.

  2. On the bottom are checkboxes. These are the available labels to assign a party. A party can be assigned multiple labels. For example, a broker can be a funder.

  3. Different labels will open up more options. For example, in Figure 3, funder is checked, and therefore the 3 fields, Default Syndicator, Default Broker and Funder Prefix show up to allow you to enter that pertinent information. Investor opens the options in figure 4 below. If both are selected, both options appear.

Merchant label

Merchant is an available label. However, if a party is labeled as a merchant, it will show up under the Merchants tab, and not Parties. It also can't have another label assigned.
